Designed by Mary Jeavons, is a hidden gem where children can immerse themselves in a safe, creative, and educational environment. This magical space encourages learning about the natural world while sparking imagination and a sense of wonder.

Opening times for the Children’s Garden are:

  • 8.30am until sunset
  • Closed Wednesday‚Äôs except during NSW School Holidays (for maintenance)

Located amidst the shade and beauty of the gardens, the Children's Garden offers a variety of engaging features for children to explore. Imagine them discovering a life-sized dinosaur equipped with interactive speaking tubes, or building their own adventures in living cubbies. There's even a fairy temple, wetland, creek line, and a troll cave waiting to be explored.

This fenced area is perfect for families seeking a sensory-rich experience through imaginative play and observation. It's a world of enchantment where children can connect with nature and each other, fostering curiosity and creativity in a playful setting.

Visiting the Children's Garden promises to be a delightful experience for families, where learning and fun go hand in hand amidst the natural beauty of Albury Botanic Gardens.

The project was a combined initiative of AlburyCity and the Friends of the Albury Botanic Gardens working group.
