Wearing the Sunflower is voluntary. It can indicate that a person may need:

There is no qualifying list of disabilities or conditions and no proof is required. Non-visible disabilities can be temporary, situational or permanent.
AlburyCity and the Sunflower
AlburyCity partnered with Bayley House to introduce the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower across our facilities and public transport services.
Trained AlburyCity employees may display the Sunflower supporter identifier. This shows they have completed relevant training and are available to:
- recognise the Sunflower
- offer assistance respectfully
- allow additional time
- communicate clearly and patiently
- help people access Council services and facilities

Free Sunflower products, including lanyards, pins and wristbands, are available from participating AlburyCity locations.
You do not need to provide proof of a disability or condition.
